Ticknock Forest is without a doubt one of the best places in Dublin to go for a family walk, specially during this time of the year!

Ten years in Ireland... already???
Cannot believe it's been ten years since we moved to Ireland! Time flies....
I wanted to write a special post to celebrate this anniversary, which is very important for us: it has been in Ireland where we have created our family and we have absolutely fallen in love with this island: its countryside, its towns, its coastline and its traditions but most of all the amazing Irish people, so warm and friendly who have made these ten years so easy to live.

A very pleasant day out: Castlecomer Discovery Park (Co. Kilkenny)
School break again! Not sure if I'm saying it with great joy or great worry... probably all working parents have the same mixed feelings: what to do with the kids during these two full weeks the school will be closed?

Loved Tollymore Forest Park (Co Down) - And we do not even follow Game of Thrones!
Last week I talked about our visit to Castlewellan Forest Park in County Down. That was one day of our 2day short trip to Northern Ireland. The second day we dedicated to fabulous Tollymore Forest Park...what a gem!

Castlewellan Forest Park - We visited it and... We got lost in the maze!!!
Last week we went to County Down. We've already been there a couple of times but it's a gorgeous piece of land and we wanted to re-visit 2 Forest Parks there.
One of them was Castlewellan Forest Park, an amazing space right outside Castlewellan village (you would have never guessed, I know!).

Special, very special - that's how I would describe Belvedere Estate in Mullingar, Co. Meath at this time of the year

Donadea Forest Park, just outside Co. Dublin
Maybe you've been to Donadea Forest Park a couple of times... or at least heard of it? know someone who's visited it?
I have to be honest: last month I heard of it for the first time. We're always looking for new places to visit, and we love Irish Forest Parks and being in close contact with nature, so I do not know how we've missed this hidden gem for so long!
