Great plan for a rainy day - IMAGINOSITY in Dublin 18

Probably you've heard about Imaginosity, specially if you live in Dublin and you have kids...

It's an interactive museum for children. A place for children to try new experiences: how it feels to drive a "big car" like dad's, or to be an actor, a journalist, a musician.... basically it's adults world brought to children for them to experience in a safe environment.

We've taken our children there a couple of times and couldn't recommend it more. The visits last two hours and I can asure you it's two hours full of fun and surprises. Apart from the permanent exhibitions, there are lots of events organized daily, like story telling or music time, that the kids love!

The museum is a three floor building located in Sandyford, in Dublin 18. I would say that the best age to enjoy it completely would be 4 to 9, but there are also things to do for the little ones. In case your little one is very very little, there is a cafe inside where you can wait having a nice cup of tea with your baby while the rest of the family visit the museum. I wouldn't advise you to have lunch there, though: the pastries, cakes and other snacks are good, but the proper food....

Also, if you're planning to go, make sure you book in advance (online or by telephone) if you want to make sure you'll be able to visit the museum at the time you wanted to... it's pretty busy there, specially on Saturdays and Sundays.

We went there last month and I took some pictures that I'd like to share with you, so you can get a flavour of what you can find there. I hope you like them (the pictures and the museum!).

If you've already been there and want to make a comment, please feel free. I'm sure it'll be very useful for other readers, and that's the idea. Thanks in advance!!!!
